We craft our collection of handmade soaps, bath, and body products with high-quality butters and oils to deeply nourish and moisturize your skin. Using plant-based colorants, clays, and essential oils, we create beautifully scented and visually striking products. We’ve also introduced ethical mica to expand our range of vibrant colors, enhancing the experience we offer.

Our Story
The Make Shoppe was founded in 2022 by Amanda and Fia in the small town of Beeton, Ontario, with a desire to create a line of fun handmade soaps, bath and body products, free of artificial fragrances and dyes. Countless hours of research and trial and error went into developing the formulas and recipes we use in our product line.
Every product we make is crafted with passion, in small batches and with ingredients that are carefully and intentionally selected to deliver the most benefits to your skin. Our mission is to provide handcrafted soaps and skincare products that are safe, natural and fun for kids and adults alike.
A Note About Our Ingredients
When we first started The Make Shoppe, our goal was to use ingredients we could feel good about. We source many organic, high-quality and fair trade oils and butters. Recently, we introduced Identity Preserved, RSPO Palm oil. This means our sustainable palm oil is fully traceable to a single, identifiable, certified source and kept separate from the supply chain. In many of our products, where possible, we use sustainable olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic and fair trade shea and organic, ecocert/cosmos approved cocoa butter.
We also recently introduced ethical mica into some of our products. This allows us to provide a further range of colours that cannot be achieved through our natural plant infusions. We still offer these botanical and clay coloured options as well.
In truth, it's nearly impossible to do anything without having an environmental impact. We aren't perfect, and we are always looking for ways to improve.
We feel confident in our products, not only because we create them, but also because we use them personally on ourselves and on our children.
